Dr. Hartman was born in Germany and grew up in the small, rural town of Livingston, Montana. She attended Montana State University, where she studied Spanish and Nutrition Science. During this time, she also studied abroad for a semester in Pamplona, Spain. After graduating, she worked with adults with disabilities for two years and then attended the University of Utah School of Medicine. She then completed her Family Medicine Residency in Klamath Falls, Oregon through OHSU. Dr. Hartman is excited to be working at Tulelake Health Center, where she will be able to serve her community and combine her passion for medicine and health, and provide multi-cultural care. She is excited to be able to work with Spanish speaking patients, and is looking forward to improving her Spanish language skills. Within medicine, her passions include women’s health, dermatology, and minor office based procedures. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, her two large St. Bernards, hiking, and cooking.
