Dr. Palomino is a family medicine physician who earned his medical degree from Peru’s top medical school, Cayetano Heredia University. After graduation, he provided medical care to the indigenous people of the Amazon. Dr. Palomino also worked as a generalist in various urban and rural areas of Peru for several years providing health care to patients of all age groups. In 2015, Dr. Palomino was selected as a UCLA International Medical Scholar. He successfully completed his internship and residency in Family Medicine at UCLA’s affiliated Rio Bravo Family Medicine Residency Program, in Kern County.
Dr. Palomino’s professional interests focus on: Geriatric Medicine, Preventive and Hospital Medicine, Public Health, Pediatrics, and Community Medicine. When he is not engaged in his professional activities, he spends his time cycling, hiking, family-time with his 3-month-old son and wife, cooking, and traveling. Dr. Palomino is seeing patients at Weed Health Center.
